ud 2300 fuel problem

hey guys, great forum! not many places ive found for nissan ud info so here it goes. 93 ud 2300. 6 cyl. has fuel to the injection pump but not a drop comes out. been a diesel mechanic for a long time but never worked on one of these. ive retired from that field of work now. yes the shaft for the pump is going around. has compression, cranks good. im thinking fuel shut off valve. problem is, im not sure which one it is or how to test this one. volts, ohms? been told there is a solenoid for this too. ive located it and it seems fine. now, does the ecm mounted in the cab control this? thanks for any help. great site guys.

Honestly I don't think a lot of people run UDs here, I seen a few but not enough to have a following on the mechanical end of things.

It may be a cable coming from the shut off solenoid.Sometimes they can bind or just freeze up.
