My owner runs strictly Hino's in his "D" fleet. They're an uncomfortable ride, can't pull up a hill with any kind of freight on, and with me being 6'3", 375, not much in cab room, either. Maximum fuel efficiency means running the truck at 63 miles an hour, usually giving the truck anywhere between 8.5 - 9.5 MPG. And do I get the looks when I'm running that slow in Texas!! The owner bought these trucks because of their 3 year, unlimited mileage warranty. Can't fault him for that, but then again, he doesn't have to drive them, now does he?
