TVAL training not done in Green OH anymore?

So if i understand correctly,we still need to go to Green for pad testing. So while our truck is sitting on the pad,and we are sitting at Cambria Suites we get to PAY $135.00 each to verify we know how to do,what we have been doing for four years? So does this mean no more free lunch with or CC and an escort in and out of the building. You know as contractors we are a high security threat. Yeah just keep pilling on the straw's.

I did talk to the TVAL folks a few days ago, they said " they don't think" thermal mapping will ever be outsourced.

Not to knock anyone in the dirt. But Ive seen this comming since I got outa the Service. On this note TVAL as u know will be required as the STD. Peroid by the food and Drug Adminastration. Not Only by the big Pharmasutical Companies but by the food stores that use Reefers to haul Produce Frozen meats ect. Just about anything Reeferd for that matter. There are many out here at all the companies that use Start stop or Century Cycle on Regular Reefer Loads to save money on fuel. When this is done all they care about is their bottom line. Save money so they think. But lacking is the Knowledge of what realy happens in the box. Many Reefers settings for century cycle or star stop are off the return probe. There are some Reefers that have 3 probes std in the box to tell temps but are are not configured to kick the TCU on when the temp gets too high or too cold. The temp swing in the box can go as much as 10 to 15 degrees depending on how the reefer is stacked. loaded to the gills with produce ect true temp in the box with normal reefer set on the return probe can swing greatly. Alot of cheap contractors set these reefers on century cycle and start stop. They will argue there are many of them at the companies we are with today that will run century Cycle or start stop on reg reefer loads. Well the Nuckel heads that do are realy foolish. For one its much harder on reefer to start and stop, it starts it and pulls down then shuts off , Turns back on when the Return porbe says its needs too. Goes like mad to pull back down to temp then kicks off. Leaving the TCU run is actualy easyer on the Unite the start stop. Another thing Produce and Frozen Flexing Temps on produce Strawberries Not a good deal. Dont belive it well that Fuzz stuff starts on Strawberries YUP MOLD. So easy. That makes people Sick. IF the Reefer left on Continueness lessons the likely hood of that happen. TVAL out here in the civillian sector mybe for the last 15 years give or take but in the Naval Service its been around alot longer how about try since 1958. The art of loading Reefers weather Frozen or Perishable goods such as milks or Produce been there. Readings by the Sound and Securty Watches on Ships many moons and it goes on today. So what maybe relative new to many companies out here I shake my head as the Service has had it way way longer. From the proper stacking of Reefers and freezers to the probes inside them. To Recordings when personal enter them to retrive foods stuffs what called called break outs ect. The Federal Govt had rules in place that had to be followed by the service. On another note TVAL outside Contractor certificatio its not new there are quit a few companies that have been using it for the last couple of years. Like I said many moons ago the temp monitering was done on Supply ships and the ships they replunished. The civillian sector seems now thats its just starting to catch up. For those of you out here that are setting your TCU on Century Cycle or Start Stop on regular temp loads You know who are and your wrong and are playing with fire. What you will see is just about every pharma load or food stuff load will be required to have a Tape print out to go with the shippment. Be prepared its the STD and Im all for it. Its seems the civil sector is finaly catching up BZ.

its all about the money...now they wont have to pay expenses of thermal mapping at green...you will pay for it online...they are doing everything to put all costs on us.
