Yep, time for that semi-annual stupidity. The sun knows what time it is. Just like our congress to think they know better than nature as to what time it is!! I am not going to say something stupid, like I read in the Miami Herald once long ago. Some genius wrote in complaining about daylight savings time. Claimed it gave the sun a hour longer to burn his long. Leave it alone. When the sun says it's noon, it's noon!!

O.K. , how many safety managers will catch the violation if someone logs a ten hour break that includes 2 a.m. to 3 a.m. Sunday morning ? If you show 8 p.m. Saturday night until 6 a.m. Sunday that is only 9 hours . I am going to leave no line between 2 a.m. to 3 a.m. Sunday in the log book . That time is nonexistent . There will be no 2:15 a.m. or 2:30 a.m. for example . Make sure you allow that extra hour in 34 hour restarts also .

The number of serious heart attacks goes up 6 to 10 percent (PDF) on the first three workdays after the time change. Of course, that won't have much of an effect on expediters, since none of us get regular sleep anyway.

On the upside, we're better drivers in daylight, reducing fatal car crashes and pedestrians getting hit by as much as 5 percent in the week following the clock change.

It's gonna happen, and soon. "Your honor, my client pleads not guilty on the grounds that Daylight Saving Time disrupted his biological clock."

Mine is already done, since I never change them, I don't buy into changing the clocks...either that or I'm just to lazy.

The clock in my pickup truck is always on "real time". It gets better mileage when in sync with the sun!!

LMAO I am sure they will. But heres the deal. My computer and cell phone auto adjusts so the only one I will have to change is the one on the radio and I don't pay attention to that one anyway, in fact as I sit here looking at it its 25 mins off. Might explain a few things

How does the sun "know"? Time is a man made concept.

Not just congress. Ben Franklin proposed DST.

I'm still confused. How is this possible?:p

I don't know how it is possible but the sun is always where it belongs when it should be there. It is just amazing. Besides Ben Franklin was a drunk. Who knows how he came up with this nightmare. Our congress has stuck us with this. I think it is just to insure that they have an extra hour each day to tax us!!

I thought you might!! If I remember correctly Michigan tried to exempt the State from DST in '68. The Feds said we had not choice in the matter.

Hmmmm '68, what was i doing then? Can't remember. Must have been before my "time".:p
