I was out at the local Flying Hook fueling-up my rig yesterday day and saw several expediters sittin'. There were Landstar and Panther D units, a Tri-State B and 2 Conway Now B units. Whazzup with that? I thought Tulsa was out of the loop? Did they fire-up the International bus plant again after the holidays?

Some of them may have delivered to Whirlpool and were waiting on the next load.

The Co. that I drive for, RDF Logistics, has D units in Tulsa on a fairly regular basis. When I get the Tulsa run I usually hit the Flying J as there is almost always a 10-12hr. layover period from the drop to reload. If you see one, stop over and say "Howdy".

Rex, I get by the Flying Hook here in Tulsa pretty frequently. If I see a RDF D rig I'll certainly stop and say hello.

Slower area to get out of, but not impossible.

We delivered there 2 weeks ago, about 10-12 hrs.latter we took aload from Oklahoma city to Phoenix, on to Tucson then deadheaded with a dead head ( my son asked us to find a cow skull, complete with horns found one at the delivery. A kind of cool Texas long horn.... is that what they mean by mad cow? )to San Antonio, Sat there for 4 days and. that was a bummer but we did go to the alamo and take a room for one night in a Motel Dead headed to Huston and del. to Lafayette. then to the house.

Hey, one of those trucks was my wife and I. I was in the gray International Con-way. And the other Con-way were some really great people that we met and had dinner with. We got loaded out of there that night headed to lafayette, in.
