Give John a call, Shoots Straight won't hold back on ya, I was at PTL Till I retired from driving last year. OH and they are right around the corner from Try Hours behind southwyck mall.

I worked for them after the expo in Oh and only stayed about a month. They NEVER seem to know the fsc then you get the qc and realize how low it is. I also just went from OH to MI and maybe to IN if lucky. The worst part is when you take a load from Toledo to Detroit then when you DH back to Toledo you are back at the bottom of line. Mark is great and so are the dispatchers but the company to me seems more like a courier service. Lots of NLMI as well. Hope this helps and sorry to sound negative.

I remember seeing a number of their trucks that looked the same- company trucks? But at any rate, you have Bolt and Try Hours both in Toledo. Do you suppose they are both exiled/dwarfs from the Tri-State system who just wanted to start up their own company? Bolt is certainly the most recent...just a thought: times are hard, why would you want to sign up with one of the smallest of companies? The only way I would do that is if they had a lot of freight in one area and you lived there...

Because SOME small companies know how to move their trucks as well, if not better, than the bigger companies. IMO, any company that has an unwritten policy of moving trucks out, but not back, has some lazy ppl in the head chair.

Try-Hours does a lease purchase program on the straight trucks and i have ran into a few drivers that say the s/t keep moving pretty well for them. They do not relocate vans or in my experience readily give advice on where to move as well.
