One of the biggest mistakes that most people make when signing on to a company is NOT READING WHAT THEY SIGN! Reading the fine print and what you will be charged when you leave. Another big mistake is knowing where your money is gonna be sent to..I know for a fact at Panther, when you leave, and after your QC has been returned and checked in and all fuel taxes and other monies owed has been paid back, you will get the remainder of you escrow downloaded to you comdata card in 45 days. I know this to be true it has happened to me 2 times in the last year dealing with trucks under my contract, and both time I got everything that was owed to me and then some. So please people READ before you sign and know where it going to end up at...Good luck

Jmore1276. This very thing happened to me in 2001 and with the same company. I did not get my money for 6 months and then only because I contacted my lawyer. I have had experience with other companies and I have not been treated unfairly by any of them. This seems to be something that these folks do.

jeff, i have to disagree. yesterday i was 4th out in lansing and got a call. one of the three ahead of me was sitting at a different table and his phone rang a few minutes before. he must have turned it down. i took it to run. paid 76 bucks and went to romeo. i qc;ed the company for a reloaction and the suggestion was south bend or else be well down on the list. i split the diff and came to bent harbor. my load pay equaled filling the tank for the load and re filling after the load. my fault for not checking the pay first but following the logic how soon until another load comes doesn't work right now.

presently i am considering going home as it is cheaper to go home than to sit here. maybe i can catch a chefdennis run from wisc to fla or texas.

i have absolutely no complain as to the way they treated my contract and my money .(except for the demm Decal & QC fiasco ... )
i have received my tax papers for 08 last week ,on time.

i called ooida to help in recovering 3300$ owed me by two former owners. they said sorry we don't do that. you will have to pursue on your own. okay i got a judgement against the wisc guy but to file on the other guy i have to go to fla and also name his parents in the suit as his res is listed at their house.
