To answer your question - yes, there are many good companies out there. But you will have to do some homework. This is a great place to start - you're going to have to take some time do some research and get on the phones and speak with the carriers themselves.
I also suggest that you spend sometime reading the archives in this forum - you can get an in-depth look at our industry and what it has to offer.
After reading the archives and getting acquainted you need to write out on a piece of paper what you want and expect out of a possible career in this business. Revenue expectations, desired unit size, projected expenses, days away from home, be realistic - once you have all your expectations listed, give the carriers a call and see if they can facilitate you.
Also, take time to email & PM EO members and moderators who can give you their opinion on different topics.
