Truck Stop

There is a nice little truck stop on I 81 Ex 128 in Virgina. The food in restaurant is excellent, the service is fast, not too pricey. The food is all home cooked, not like TA, Petro, or Flying J. It is all made from scratch. They have a nice driver's lounge. the showers r nice also. The showers are cheaper then TA, Petro,Flying J And Loves. Let's just say that you can get 2 showers for the price of 1 shower at the other places.


The name of the truck stop is called STOP IN

Thanks for the tip. I'd much rather stop at a local place that's clean than the big chains.

We appreciate the info on the I-81 exit 128 Va truck stop. I get so sick of the same old stuff from the big chains. I also have one for everyone. I-55 exit 42 in Brookhaven, Ms. The truck stop is fairly new on the left hand side of the road going east. Can't remember the name of it but they have a restaurant/grille there that has some really awesome food. The beef brisket is great.

Yes I agree thats the old lancer travel plaza. It is a part of small chain. all on I-81. They also own Whites Travel Plaza( Not sure of Exit) and another a few exits up from that one. One has Dixie's Restarant the other has a Taco Bell and Omletette Shop. Restaurants and employeees are very trucker friendly.

Also on I-81 at exit 86 is a small truck stop with the Apple Tree restaurant. They have the best liver and onions I've found in a long time.
Also parking is easy even at 3am!
