Portland police tracked down a specially modified semi truck they believe was used to steal thousands of dollars worth of diesel fuel.
A viewer who saw the story on KGW tipped off police and that led to the arrest of Thomas Ray Synoground after his vehicle was found in the Woodstock neighborhood.

A business near NE 185th Avenue and NE Marine Drive captured security video of the semi being used to siphon diesel from trucks in the lot.
A tip Saturday led police to SE 52nd Avenue and SE Rex Street, in the Woodstock neighborhood, where they found the truck.
Police said they made an arrest at a different location.

They found a pickup truck like that in Tampa about two years ago. It had a 250 gallon tank in the bed. They found the owner of the truck laying next to it.......with a bullet in his head.

Don't know why this is such big news?
We have carriers out there already sucking tanks dry by not paying 100% of the FSC....:(
