Ya know, I think we all need to remember an adage of old, it goes something like this "Don't bite the hand that feeds ya".
Does any driver from TriState abuse their website?...After they blocked us from watching the loads now driver website is completely gone...Myself I'm lost whitout any informations ..board position, truck count...They said we abuse..I'm don't understand how to abuse a website..I looked everwhere and I cannot find anything...just drug abuse, child abuse, animal abuse...maybe they can sue us for website abuse? anyone knows if this is a criminal offence and how many yrs you'll get?
Thank you

Hmmm, have to disagree. Have noticed an increase in freight. Take last week for instance, we ran 4019 miles. Second best week we have had with Tri-State in past 2 years. As for the Tri-State co-ordinaters they seem to do right by us. We usually talk to Carl or Mic. Both are very sweet and more then willing to help out if you ask. As for the changes made by Tri-State, what changes have they really made other then the rate and move policy? The other carriers are doing the same on the E.M. and D.H. so there is really no differnence there.

My statement about the FC's was inappropriate and shouldn't have been made on this forum and for that I apologize. I personally have no problem with anyone at T/S. The comment stemmed from a frustrating week and a frustrated driver's experiences.
I had just gotten the truck I drive out of the shop after repairing water damage when I had to rush to PA where my daughter had emergency surgery. There was no cell service in the hospital so I was out of touch with my drivers. I had told them to keep in touch with T/S for instructions. Managed to get the flu while I was there and it knocked me on my fanny. Just now starting to feel normal again.
Second truck that came out of the shop a week earlier ran a few short loads in the Chicago area before getting a load to TX. It broke down in AR so that load was lost. Don't know yet if the problem stems from something the shop didn't do, or if a new problem has popped up.
Third truck sat for two days before running a short load and another day before taking another short load that delivers today. Less than 1000 miles total.
Fourth truck delivered last Monday and sat for the whole week in NC. When I asked why he didn't move he said that dispatch told him to stay on that board and so did the FC. Did he lie? Never has before, but I guess there is a first time for everything.
Granted we had problems last week that affected revenue, but I have not seen the increase in loads overall.
Sooo, here we are with a new week. Everyone is healthy again, sort of as I'm still on the chicken soup diet. We'll see how this one goes.
Sorry to hear you've had such a bad week. Yeah, tis true dispatch and some of the FC are telling trucks to "stay on this board for now". Have noticed that myself. Don't really know what to think about it. I'm wondering if it is because T-State doesn't want to e.m. trucks right now.
We go by both what we're being told by T-State and past experience, and if we know other trucks that have had loads to the area we call and ask them what their most recent experience was. Sometimes it takes a little detective work.
As for N.C. where was your truck in North Carolina? We got to the Dublin VA board on Friday morning 4th on the board. We knew nothing much goes out of Dublin so we sent a 41 over for Charlotte NC, Greenville SC, and Knoxville TN to see what was on those boards. Charlotte had 0 trucks so we headed that way arriving on the Charlotte board around about 10 am and got a load to Chillicothe OH Friday afternoon. Not a real big load only 400 miles but it kept us moving. Drivers need to develop an understanding of the freight lane and not sit for a week before moving. Know it is a difficult decision to make as a driver is always afraid that 'as soon as I take off that 1000+ miler is gonna come along and I'll miss it". Yep had those thoughts too but sometimes it's a gamble and ya just have to toss the dice and see what pops up.
He was on the Arden board. Said he stayed there because they told him to and he had gotten a load off that board before. I told him this morning that you can't count on getting a load off a board just because you got one before. I reminded him to send a 41 and move rather than just sit there.
Can't agree more. I can also prove that the dispatchers have favorites, but I never complained because I knew it would do no good. I used the load info on the portal to determine what boards were active so I could position my trucks properly. Contacting a FC is useless. None of the changes that T/S made have been good, and the rate reduction has yet to yield any positive results for us in the form of an increased number of loads.
