RichM, I dispatched for an LTL company that also did Air Freight. Their home office is in FL. Lawrence, Peachy Poo is what was given to me by my drivers. I was in Georgia at the time, and when they walked in, I was always smiles for them. A Grumpy Dispatcher doesn't make it easy for a driver.

No,I don't think there are (performance) numbers by our names on the dispatch screen. From visits to my carrier's offices and seeing their dispatch screens, I know what's there and what's not. With our carrier, dispatchers have the ability to pull driver performance records with a few key strokes. That's what I was refering to in my post.

ATeam, there are a few things that were clarified in your second posting. You are right the numbers are always there. You can pull them up with out problems. A new dispatcher having a system overload with all the information being thrown at them will not always take the time to look at what is in the screen. They will get with the other dispatchers. Even if you feel that your numbers speak for you, and you are right they do, how you are interacting with the dispatchers and others in the office will filter down also.

TST is the best for honest dispatch with friendly attitude. Some pay better loaded, but do they keep you loaded? TST does a fair job.
