Canada Trans-Ontario Express

Has anyone on here worked for them? Anyone know if they are a good company to work for? I'm looking at applying for their courier division and later on maybe becoming an O/O.

I know they have been around for a while and seem to be well established. Buy any info about them will be much appreciated. Thanks.

I worked with a couple of guys who quit Trans-Ont as they found the o/o were utilized to cover the route drivers and paid the route pricing for the calls. Basically this means you get a delivery to Burlington from Scar and they wanted it done this morning but it paid all of $6 as it was a missed overnight call. Well that doesn't even cover gas. If you can get in with one of the old hands or get a decent route then you can make a living.

I haven't met an o/o from there doing rush only calls making a living. All the rush guys I've met have left for other companies with what they deemed better distribution of work.

Keep checking and try to talk with a few of the drivers working there before joining.
