Well, this has been discussed on here, but I think I'll say it as a good reminder for everyone, myself included:
Anytime you change companies, be prepared, because normally it takes a little bit to learn their system. Any O/O will tell you that a change will slow down your earnings temporarily. You have down time, new up-front expenses, and learning to work with dispatch. Sitting at one exit with your last company might be a hotspot, but with the new one, it's not near as good as being 20 miles east. If there were NO slowdown by switching companies, the best of o/o's would always be switching companies the first week they had lower miles. Ateam would be throwing cats on their truck, DaveKC would be calling Tri-state and Leo would be at the FED. Oh, and Greg334 would be running team with TallCal.
