Hey Lawrence,
I was tracking the truck and Rich today in Kenly, NC.
That is one hellova paint job and there is plenty of crome to boot.

Rich, is quite the ambassador giving guided tours and answering everyones questions, you folks chose the right person for the job.

I entered into the contest and look forward to driving that bad boy home.

I had a good visit with Rich while my truck was serviced. I'm sure he would appreciate others dropping by during his tours.

I got to see the truck as well. Originally stoped at Haw River to goto the bathroom and ended up staying awhile talking about the truck and expediting and everything... Nice looking truck, Rich is a top notch guy to boot.

Thanks John and Randy,it helped pass the time to talk and laugh with fellow expediters. While John and I have some years on us it was a touch of fresh air to chat with Randy and his Lady. Two young people that have their heads screwed on right and will be very successfull in this business.

Today (Friday) finds the truck and me in Jackson MS with a Speedco stop for tommorrow at Exit 47 on I 20 next to the Pilot T/S. This truck is reallly starting to impress me,it just purrs along with all kinds of power but also get 10 MPG.The Super 10 transmission required a learning curve but after a week it trained me when and how to shift.

Last Tuesday I was in Jackson Ga and it was a pleasure to talk with Arlene and Jeff (EO Are12) who drive for Panther Elite and also Ray from Tri State. It helps the time go by when fellow expediters arrive and we share war stories.

Next week I am in Shreveport on Monday,Little Rock on Wednesday and W Memphis on Friday so if you are in the area stop by and say hello.

Last week the Super Truck was in Shreveport,Little Rock and W Memphis. This coming week on Monday it will be in Joplin MO,I 44 Exit 11 then go into the Chrome Shop Mafia location for some work.

I was able to meet up with Arkjarhead and his wife Robin in Little Rock for about 2 hours and on Friday my good friend Dave KC came to West Memphis and stayed 3 hours.It helps pass the time when someone in our industry stops by to share stories.

There are 2 ways to enter. Stop at any Speedco and fill out a entry form and put it in the box provided. You can enter more then once. Speedco will stop accepting entrys after June 15th.The other way is to come to the Expediters Expo in July at Wilmington Ohio, and enter there. There will be 12 finalists, six from Speedco drawings and six drawn at the expo. Speedco finalists will be notified and provided free transposrtation and lodging to the Expo. All finalists will be given a key. If your key unlocks the door and you have a valid CDL it's yours.
There are additional prizes,second prize is a set of Yohama tires,then free PM's for a year and a $500 fuel card.

I had a couple of PM's asking about the Super Truck and it's performance. It has the Mack E7 engine putting out 460 HP with The Super 10 Transmission. Rolling along the Interstates it is getting9-10 MPG with no load. It has Cruise control many lights and a Radio that would probably set you back about $1500.

The ride is decent. It has Nascar Racing air ride seats in the cab which after a few days become comfortable. It has many led lights scatterd on the sides and rear and looks real good at night. It has power windows and door locks. Since it is a 10 wheeler cargo weight should not be a problem.

I will be running up in Iowa and Illinois and Indiana the next few weeks so check the schedule and stop by.

You know we all have somewhat of a romantic nature in us. Last Friday night I was traveling from Memphis to Ft Smith AR. After I passed Little Rock the traffic thinned out,I 40 was smooth(Miracle there),a great oldies station was playing with the Righteous Brothers doing their thing and I thought,how good it would be to have my lady riding shotgun and have a W/Glove load of 6-8 pallets in the back with a Monday delivery in Phoenix.

Next day I told the Lady about this and the answer was "No Way"..But thats OK we did it for many years and frankly I enjoy home time more then ever.
