Yea its a good thing I am not getting paid to spell because they would have fired me by now from my business on wheels! I normally let my wife do all of that for me because she payed attention in school. As far as the gotry we will let who ever posted that explain that from there own experience. I have a " domestic partner" and four kids. I have no problem staying away three weeks at a time, of course im going to miss some things, but the ends(new toys, paid bills, movies, new bunk beds ect..) Justify the means..and t it helps me appreciate them, and the time i do get to spend with them.And
they love when i come home with presents and souvineers,...plus i dont technichally live there, so my "partner" still recieves all her hard earned government benifets

Great - but it's not how most expediters do it - we don't get loads close to home every week, and DHing very far sucks up the profit we're making.
I know it's easier in a van, but even so, expedite is unpredictable - expecting to get home often is not realistic for most of us.
It helps [a lot] if you have your own authority & find & book your own loads, but that's not something I'd suggest any newbie start out doing.

Hmmm waffle house!!!!

As long as this thread has been reduced to potty humor, I've got to ask, is that a picture of a waffle or the new urinal screen things now in use at the Flying/Pilot? What's the deal with those things? The first time I saw one I thought someone dumped their lava lamp in the urinal and the lava kinda cooled and congealed. Then I noticed all the Flying/Pilots were using them.
