Our Ducks Unlimited spring dinner is tonight! My wife, myself and our friend Slo-ride, along with other committee members and a legion of volunteers, spent a long day yesterday helping to set up the hall. There are prizes to be won and auctioned off. The TV Diner, from Trenton, MI, brought in their grills in preparation for tonight's dinner. The tables are set.

Today it will be last minute work and "pep rallies" to fire up the members before our guests arrive. The hall will be "ROCKIN" once the event gets into full swing. LOTS of fun, noise and many hours spent catching up with friends from all over SE Michigan. We will be there, working, until 1 or 2AM. It is a hard day, everyone will be worn out and dragging, but in the end, with any luck, we will raise in excess of 100K, for wetlands conservation.

Have fun, and may this years dinner and fund raising be the best ever.

More could come if you all didn't sell out so fast.

Sorry, there is no larger hall in the county. With our dinner it comes down to the "snooze or lose" plan. We only have about 900 seats to sell, about half of those are already sold for next springs dinner.
