Tire rotation

I need to educate myself on a tire rotation schedule with regards to a 2014 freightliner straight truck. The truck is equipped with a pusher axle that is always down and of course the live drive axle.

Original equipment is stock continental tires, and I would say that "most" of the time is highway miles and light loads .

I'm really looking for a mileage that is recommended to rotate the tires, that I can include in a master maintenance schedule.

Thanks.
Chance.

Not trying to derail this but :rolleyes:here goes, you made a couple points that peaked my interest as I'm trying to educate myself on lift axles. You stated you run light loads but always have the pusher down. If a person is going to run this way, wouldn't a live tandum or dummy axle be better? Does running with the pusher down all the time damage it in anyway? If I'm adding a lift axle to my truck which is better, a pusher or tag?

I drive for an owner. The pusher axle saves a 12% excise tax. The pusher is put into up position in tight corners and turns. There are many opinions on lift/pusher/tag axles here on EO.

Wouldn't it make sense to ask a Continental dealer what the manufacture of the tires and the truck manufacture recommends?.

Is your drive & pusher have same size tires, for I have seen some trucks with smaller wheel on the lift. I just put some new steers on was told to switch them at 50,000 miles.
