That tire discount is amazing! When we have purchased tires with the discount the dealer did not know the discounted price.
Leo you should be able to see the discounts on the extra net or an letter that was sent out to the contractors. If you cannot find this or do not have the letter talk to your CC and have them get you the information as it is handy to have.

If you are talking about the Michelin tire discount that FedEx CC is offering, yes, it works for anything, van, car.... The trick is to find a tire dealer that is set up for 'michelin national billing' or some crap like that. The only one that I was able to find was NTB/Tire Kingdom. They are set up for it. You can go to the extranet under tire discounts and print the letter with instructions and take it to the dealer. But, make sure you follow up on this, cause most people at the tire dealer don't know what they are doing, even when they call Michelin and are told exactly how to do it, and they mess things up.
I would say that with the problems I had (charging me the wrong price because they entered the wrong code in, charging me twice for the same tires - NTB people didn't know what they were doing, but a few calls to Michelin fixed it) it is not worth the hassle, but then I paid $125 per tire for my van instead $180, so I might do it again.

The discount on the bigger tires is very good. The minor problems we have had are not worth worrying about.

We just bought 6 michelin XZA3s all the same size/tread in order to rotate all to the steer position. The discount was
