I stopped in at a Flying J in Beaverdam, Ohio. The lady behind the counter was awesome. For anyone who goes thru there, she's the one who had a bandage on her hand. I drive a cargo van & only got $17 worth of gas. I asked her how much was a shower & how long was the wait.

She said the wait was 2 minutes & she gave me the shower for free. Possibly by looking at me, she could see I REALLY needed one, but I think it was simply because she's just decent. Being a dork, I wasn't aware ya had to go into a specific shower & used the code on the wrong one. I went back to the counter & she reset the ticket for me & was as nice as can be. I wish this lady worked for US Customs. What a treat she was.

Anyways, just writing this so if any of ya's pass thru there, be sure to say hi to her & let her know that there was a fellow expediter who really appreciated her kindness.

What a great lady.Hope you send a E-Mail to FJ.

We recieved way out of the way help at the FJ in Dallas in helping us set up our laptop for WiFi.We E-Mailed FJ with our appreciation. The next day the two employees were aglow with the praise the company gave then.

I frequently take the "how did we do card" and fill it out for a positive experience. You mail it in,forget about it and sometimes 3-4 weeks later you might get a reply with a appreciation certificate. Loves gives $10.00,Bob Evans gives a free meal.

Im at a flying J right now in MD. Ive been using my rewards card for about a month now and was told I still did'nt have anything coming So I paid for another shower. I was at a Crazy D'S west of Indy a couple of weeks ago. No minimum fuel purchase for a shower and it was great. Everything was brand new. I not going to go out of my way anymore for a Flying J

After going through there a few times & stopping in, I finally ran into the lady who was so nice. Her name is Tonya. I did all of the above suggestions.

I told her I didn't expect her to remember me but that I appreciated what she did for me & then went on to let her know what she did. I let her know I now do all my Ohio business w/ Flying J there. That if I'm going through there I get just enough gas to get me there & fill up when I get there.

Her boss was also working so she asked me to repeat it to her boss. I basically told her boss the same thing. I thought Tonya did a great job & I also filled out one of those cards praising her. I also asked if it was possible for her to get a raise. I think she appreciated the remarks. Then again, I appreciated her kindness awhile back.

Well to tell you the truth I wish my fuel bill was 17.00 and I would enjoy paying for my own shower....LOL

I have had nothing but good experiences at the Flying J's I think the fuel is super and I find I get great fuel mileage with it. I would also tell you to stay out of the Flying J in Dallas it is the worst truck stop I have ever been in and the only flying J I have not been happy with
