The rant, ok.
He was pumped .
The choke sign, bush league.
The talking to Crabtree, low class.

If Sherman is involved in game ending play and they lose: Priceless

Should be a fun, exciting game.

All I know is, the Seahawks are in Washington and the Broncos are in Colorado, and those two states just so happen to be the only two states in this fine country where marijuana is legal. Coincidence? I don't think so!

Some pretty cool billboards around the stadium promoting pot.
Which , if discussed, I hope will be discussed in the Soapbox.

As usual Los you exaggerate everything for the worse. There is not dancing every play and the reality is its a small minority of plays. The way you look at some things is exactly like those who take advantage of a shooting to put down all gun owners but you would defend those owners to the bitter end.

I see it differently. I see more dancing and chest thumping, than not. It really does not matter, after all, it is ONLY football, nothing really important. It is JUST entertainment, easily avoided and I tend to avoid it more and more each year as the "Butt Head" and thuggery stuff increases.

Well, I find it likely that the "Dude" or "Dudette" that designed the Seahawks home uniforms had to be high on something! :p

Back to the THUG issue................

Absolutely amazing that a word that has been around for eons is now being used...or even thought of........as a RACIST issue.

Again...........Absolutely Asinine..................

Guess now we're going to have to EDIT and CENSOR Re-Runs of Happy Days, Just as Networks are Editing and Bleeping Re-Runs of All In The Family. Mr C ..... Mr Cunningham referred to Fonzie as a THUG many many times during that shows run. The THUG label was used to call out Bruiser and the Whole Gang that Fonzie Left when he got out of the Gang Life for good..............Mrs C used the THUG word many times.............and so on.

I looked up the word THUG..........NOWHERE in ANY Dictionary............Even the Urban Dictionary.........does it have reference as being a Racial Overtone............

Honestly......I'd like to see the Article T-Hawk mentioned THUG as being a New Racist Word.............

Which is proof you really don't pay attention.

Reverse racist? LOL... What the heck is that? A white person that hates white people because of the color of their skin?

Reverse racist ?
Isn't that part of the new Nascar chase rules where the last 5 laps are run in reverse ?
They're arguing if they'll be making left turns or will they now be right turns?

In '66 six blacks jumped me. First I heard "there's one" and then I heard heard " where you from Nxxxxx ?"

Boy was this 13 year white kid confused.
My " you talking to me ?" wasn't as funny to them as it was to me.
Luckily, three cop cars were watching, waiting for it to start.

That's the last time I got off a bus at 63rd and Stoney.

The word thug is not about race. Its a word to describe the way a person acts. Sherman acted more like a punk than anything. He showed a lack of sportsmanship by publicly trash talking Crabtree, displaying the choke sign, and rubbing it in before the game was even over. His teamate Marshawn Lynch is known as Beast Mode. Sherman, by his actions, should be known as Punk Mode.

Was just thinking about that word, punk. Thought if whites called crooked black youths 'punk', if the black community would try to own that word too, like they are trying to own 'thug'. But it's also on the media, that tries to push this race issue, so it diverts us from the real problems. They've extrapolated the whole episode, and started something where there was nothing serious.
