Good article.

Certainly new rules, regs, and laws can be written, there are still going to be certain percentage of drivers who are willing to break them. It's a human nature(sadly).

I believe the focus should be on engineering the safer vehicles and roadways.

When they limited 34 hour reset to only one per week it reduced hours available to work.

Why oh why do drivers want to work themselves to death.. Heck, I believe 70 hours a week is to much anymore.. I like it when I work 40 hour week max.. Sometimes I work 60 hours but that comes into play when the load pays great...
