An excellent thought and great in theory until a very strong opinion comes along and the delicate pansies are upset. Good luck with that. :D

so what if one is a card carrying member of the KKK or a take em out back and shootem type....lol

Good Thread, Good Post. Gave a bunch of ex-members something to talk about, and something to keep them busy for a couple of hours today. :p

One can have a free-for-all that is unmoderated if they keep the personal attacks out of it. But, as history has been here, some just cannot debate, nor push the opinion they strongly believe in without resorting to personal attacks. When they start losing the debate, it turns into an "oh yeah, well....that wart on your nose makes you look like a horny toad!!!". (mild example, adults :)rolleyes:) here have used harsher words)

If you find yourself on the losing end of a debate and lose your cool, and then say something that get's you an infraction, or better yet, a week or 2 of "Time Out" time, don't go off whining like a little baby, OK. You crossed a line that earned you your time out by the ones who are put in place to judge whether or not a line was crossed or not. Yes, rules are in place here whether you like it or not. Boards are better ran when there's 5-10 Chiefs keeping control of board rather than all 12,000 members being the Chief themself.

And, before I'm told to shut my piehole here, I'll say that YES, I have been BANNED here more than once for arguments I've had right here in the Soapbox. I have had Infractions sent to me numerous times. Did I go stomping off crying free speech speech free speech???? Nope, I just took my lumps like a man am still around just waiting til my next banishment. (which will happen again sooner or later ;) :D )

People can argue my opinions, which maybe crazy or nuts or even anal,
but once they bring my lifestyle into it or my personal life...out of bounds.....:D

I think this thread needs to be locked and deleted, the idea of OVM aka Ken hunkering down in those shorts is very offensive:eek:
