I am not trying to put you down or ridicule you or anything like that. Not everyone thinks the same, even when they agree on an issue. It is one of the more difficult things to get around when supervising large groups of people. There is ALWAYS that ONE that you just cannot grasp what they say or how they think. When I ran into that in the past I always had a staff sargent to translate for me!! LOL!! I miss my staff!!

And translate for me!! There was ONE Major that worked for me for a while. He could say that the sky was blue and could NOT understand what he meant!! LOL!! It Drove me nuts!! I was responsible for his annual performance appraisal and I felt bad that I had that problem with him. I never felt right about his appraial. He was happy with it, he made Lt. Col after getting it. I guess I did ok. He deserved the promotion. He WAS BRILLIANT!! Knew his targets inside out. His writing and speaking were just out of phase with mine. We got along fine. I just asked SSGT Little to translate for me, it worked!!!

Take a look. It doesn't say democracy either. Besides... capitalism is a form of economy, not government. The PEOPLE ended up making this a capitalist society, strengthened by the fact that the government was limited in its powers to control it. IOW, it was government BY THE PEOPLE; and the economy followed suit.

But understand one thing... the founding fathers wrote about slackers. So welfare, as we know it today, was not foreign to them. THAT'S why they didn't make it a socialist society. That, and Marx didn't invent it for another 70 years.
