Hello i am thinking of returning to this business but i am very reluctant cause of the economy so the main thing i need to know is how is cargo van freight going? I have been doing research on transit and promaster but they have to many issues so i would be looking at a chevy/gmc extended van 2500 or 3500 so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Best advice is....Don’t do it, way to many vans out there, rates suck more and more.

Rates sinking, way more time between decent loads.
That being said, if you have a primary income source (SS, pension, etc.) Then it's doable, but, at minimal investment. No vehicle payments help. Finally, other than the fact that they don't float, Transits have been "major" trouble free.

Even if I worked for a company freight is slow,and are you talking about all loads are just good runs cause when I drove before I did even short runs and everything adds up.
