Things that bug me I see other drivers doing dangerous !

Ok I do drive fast when "it is safe and open road !" But when I drive I never do any of the following whether I am driving fast slow or speed limit or in traffic jam never no exceptions !

-TEXTING
-USING MY LAPTOP
-CHATTING ON WEB
-WATCHING TV
-RATTLING ON PHONE
-SLEEP "Yawning like crazy doesn't count ok"
-TEXT MAN I HATE PEOPLE THAT TEXT AND DRIVE
-USING INTERNET WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY OMG THAT IS VERY DANGEROUS!

With that said I have even slowed down allot now for many reasons.

- TO SAVE FUEL
- TO MAKE MY VAN LAST LONGER
- TO BE A SAFER DRIVER
- TO NOT RUN OFF THE CURVES ON THE CRAP 2 LANE HWY I END UP ON ALL THE TIME RUNNING FROM SPRINGFIELD MO AREA TO LITTLE ROCK !

With all that said Tear into me now. I know I am a loser and a moron and a failure Thanks my X wife said the same thing LOL.

But one thing is for sure if I ever do get into a accident I will be sure it is not from texting or using my pc driving down the road !

Also I try to stop as little as possible to get to where I need to be on time every time ! I know many of you all run the same as I do very effective with your times loaded also.

Other day I talked to a expeditor in a sprinter parked to camp out in Iowa "I was waiting for a load" I asked him when he delivered and he said I haven't delivered yet I am stopping for my 10 hour break I was like WHAT !!! LOL ok a sprinter taking a 10 hour break gets even better he was on a 700 mile run LOL !!

I asked are you a O/O he said hell no I drive for some guy I won't say the name of the company he drove for. I was just in shock at taking the 10 hour break LOL.

If that driver was on a placard hazmat load I think he has to take a ten hour break. I may be wrong but he would have to log so that is why I am thinking that.

Watch out it wont be long and the cops and Dot will be coming after us cargo vans / sprinters got stopped in Oklahoma by state trooper I was doing about 77 in a 75 mph zone on the turnpike he didnt give me a ticket but took a look at the sprinter, the cargo and my paper work and then ran my license and saw it was clean did mention that someone else with a similar name to mine has a arrest warrant but he said I can see thats not you we talked a few minutes about there new computers they have in the cars then he let me go on my way

Hey!! Don't be rude!! Yes, his eyesight is going and his knees are shot. So are mine. Don't EVER accuse him, or me for that matter, about daydreaming about Michigan's "Wicked Witch"!! HOW DARE YOU!!! :p

You got THAT right!! Other things that bug me below. All are things I have seen while driving.

Eating ceral
Having sex (alone or with others)
Reading books, papers etc.
Writing
Putting on make up
Putting on or removing clothing (not just jackets)
Removing make up
Shaving
Motorcyles doing wheelies
Racing

LOL... I've been hearing that for 12 years. When I bought my van in '98 I was told that I made a big mistake as DOT regs would be applied any day. Any day now... LOL

If I were you, I wouldn't be worried.

All the above listed + one other one comes to mind.

When a semi takes miles & miles to pass another one. If a semi can only do 66, don't pass someone doing 65 if it's going to take ya 7 miles to get by the other one.

Or, the guy on the right could slow down some & let him pass. I do that all the time. I drive about 67 on average. If a semi is trying to pass me, but maybe going 68, I'll slow down to 55 or 60 so he can get back over in the right lane. I don't get why others can't do the same.

Something else that comes to mind. When there's a backup (accident or construction) & people try to get in the open lane from the closed one at the last second. The solution to this one would be simple. At least for construction zones it would be.

Put a little speed bump a couple of miles back. Gradually make the speed bumps bigger. You'd see people getting their tails over a lot sooner.

Because some of these drivers get into the competition mode and don't want to let the other truck pass them, I don't know how many times I am passing a truck, lets say 5 mph faster and just as I get up to the cab they speed up. Have you seen the most recent Ice Road Truckers, where the one guy was having a problem with passing the other guy. LOL:rolleyes:

Well, the fact is that the guy with the 66 mph truck that's trying to pass the 65 mph truck is an idiot. He should just stay behind the 65 mph truck. Does he really believe he'll get where he's going significantly sooner?

I've been behind these morons with a long line of traffic behind them. Someone on the CB told the guy he needed to move and he said that, basically, it is what it is and everyone just has to wait. Stupid...
