This dash cam video from a Minnesota State Patrol car was recently released. The incident took place last July. The driver of this truck ended up blowing a .28 BAC. On a litter note, the MSP trooper sounds alot like the young Lou Solverson, ya. Dash-cam video shows MN state trooper stopping drunk semi-truck...

Now that is scary. But beyond the obvious dangers to the public and the trucker, is the sad fact that he has a serious problem and probably won't get any help for it. Even if he seeks help, there really isn't any effective treatment in this country for the majority of alcohol abusers. I wonder how long he has been driving under the influence and nobody spoke up.....to stop him, or to help him. I worry about deer, drunks, and those who doze off. Defense, defense,
and pray a lot.

This driver had a prior DUI but the article I read didn't mention if it was in a CMV or not.
