The Wall!

Unloaded Saturday...right beside the "Wall"..that huge steel fence recently built...it makes the Berlin Wall look friendly...

I had this quick flash...of Mexicans jumping the fence and border guards shooting them down....just like the Soviets did to people who wanted a better life....

My query would be

Are we moving to the very situation that we as a nation despised so much during the Cold War times....?

The "WALL" was built by the Soviets to keep their OWN citizens from escaping their murderous ways. They kept Germans from moving freely about Germany. It was NOT built to keep US troops or invaders out. The Soviets, at that time, were in the process of enslaving large areas of Eastern Europe. They were exterminating MILLIONS of innocent people. There is NO valid comparison.

The Mexicans HAVE a country. NO ONE is keeping them from it. They have ALLOWED their government to degrade their country to the state that it is in. They SHOULD, instead of running here, breaking our laws to "find a better life", bring down their government and take back control of THEIR country.

Two different purpose for the walls. In Berlin, the wall was built to keep people in, our wall is to keep people OUT.

Dispite what our government has or not done, I don't believe we are moving towards A SOVIET type situaion.

IMHO, the freedom loving people in our society would not roll over and play dead.

First these illegals cross the border.........First criminal act

Then they find a work.................... Second criminal act

Then they don't pay tax on that income....3rd criminal act...

They don't "enter" our country or just "cross the border" they invade. They have NO legal reason to be here.

They SHOULD be putting all this effort into controlling THEIR government and getting their country moving. They have all kinds of resources there. The ONLY reason that country is in such a mess is the government. Much like every other country. Which is exactly why the People should control government.

Oh I agree..if the people down there put as much energy into fighting their government to make changes would be much better for them....so close them off and make them stay and fight the good fight....a cornered animal will fight..

We COULD even help them get rid of their government. Instead of fooling around in Libya.

It is the warm weather down there that is the problem. Canada and the US have done OK for the most part. Once you get down into Mexico and Central America you run into problems. The heat fried their brains. Too many naps.

You got that right!! BUT, not to worry, our government is working HARD to lower it self to that level. It has make GREAT strides in the direction over the last several decades.

It will soon be time to put them back in "their place" so to speak.

Yeap shoot them then throw their dead bodies back over the wall with a big note in Mexican for the next one to try to cross "you could be next to lay here and rot"....works for me...

LOL, there fixed it for you, but a "knot" would work too...:D jump then they would hang from the wall instead of rot on the ground...but either way, the message might get across...:D
