About level of support I do not disagree. Reading polling data is just that, reading polling data. But saying Haley is seeking VP when she is actually talking about president, that's mind reading.

Will it do any good? I doubt it. The appeal is to the same 11th Circuit Court of Appeals that shredded Trump's last appeal, and the case Trump is appealing now seems to have ZERO legal merit.

Some people have dreamed of a Trump-DeSantis 2024 ticket. That's not likely any more, if it ever was. Trump is in full DeSantis attack mode.
Trump has said DeSantis is disloyal. He claims DeSantis begged, with tears in his eyes, for the Trump endorsement. He nicknamed him "Ron Desanctimonious." And now, on Truth Social, Trump is posting pictures of DeSantis partying with teen-aged girls from back when he was a school teacher in Georgia.
"In two [Truth Social] posts, Trump shared an image that purportedly showed the governor drinking alcohol with teenage girls that he was responsible for teaching at a high school in Georgia. The image, which has not been independently authenticated by Newsweek, appears to have first been published by Hill Reporter in October 2021.
"A version of the image shared by Trump on Truth Social featured the caption, 'Here is Ron DeSanctimonious grooming high school girls with alcohol as a teacher.'" (Source)

Going forward, even if Trump later wanted to have DeSantis as his running mate, DeSantis would likely refuse and the public criticism of Trump picking a man he previously savaged would be intense.

The critics did not have to do or say anything. In a single stroke, Trump pissed off millions of Republican DeSantis supporters, thereby weakening Trump's own position and dividing the Republican Party. And he brought into public view old criticisms of then teacher DeSantis drinking with high school girls at a party.
Actually, this is a three-for-one gift to the critics. Trump not only posted the party photo, he (in classic Trump fashion, claiming something without evidence) took it a step further and branded DeSantis as a groomer.
The critics might say to Trump, "Thank you very much, Donald Trump. Keep up the good work!"

Before making this statement, were you able to find ANY evidence that corroborates that (1) it's DeSantis in the blurry picture (2) if that was him, was he was a high school teacher when the picture was taken, and (3) these girls are either underage and/or in high school?
Not authenticated, but gleefully published anyway by two insignificant liberal publications, since they get the two biggest conservative birds with one stone when anyone, but especially Trump takes the bait and re-posts it - thus triggering the Kavanaugh smear that worked so well for them.

Yep- Trump really stepped in it this time, and liberals everywhere are more than happy to repeat it as a Trump quote instead of a gratuitous assertion. It's the Kavanaugh treatment all over with one degree of separation.
Trump himself authenticated it by publishing it and explaining what it is. He was not concerned with the questions you raise. The truth does not concern him. His purpose in sharing this post on TRUTH (cough) Social is different. For many Trump supporters, his authentication is all they need.

This is a wise response. Ronald Regan had what he called the 11th Commandment; "Never speak ill of another Republican." It seems Trump did not get the memo. Trump is a destructive force in the Republican Party, as demonstrated by this post.

So there's no corroboration to support the photo, which is why it didn't get legs with the media when it was trotted out 18 mos ago. But this is apparently all about Trump, which is fair considering he was stupid enough to post something like this. He continues to be his own worst enemy, especially with his unfiltered social media tripe. However, it remains to be seen if Trump fatigue will set in before the GOP primary starts in earnest.
