These are kind of interesting. Some of the numbers are a little surprising.
These are from the daily MSN online polls. They've proven historically to be quite accurate. MSN runs the raw data through some algorithms to account for the population, the leanings of MSN users, the influence of the media, lots of things.

In case you missed it, what with all the hoopla over Democratic Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s primary win in New York this week, the LGBTQ and Lefty hero and role model Chelsea Manning fell short in her Senate primary in Maryland.
The lovely Miss Manning campaigned on LGBTQ rights, closing all federal prisons and freeing all of the inmates, the abolition of ICE, eliminating national borders with free and unfettered immigration, and against all things mean.
She lost to incumbent Democratic Senator Ben Cardin, who received 450,890 votes (80%), in a squeaker, while Manning received 32,201 votes (5.7%).
Back in May when some polling results came out and Manning wasn't faring well, Manning garnered some attention when she complained the primaries were "rigged" and that people were "not interested in voting, or elections or civil discourse anymore." She then tweeted a photo of her standing on an upper-story window ledge.
A message sent through Manning's twitter account later said she was recovering "in the company of friends" and thanked everyone for their "well-wishes and support."
Before the primary, Manning said she had "stepped back" from campaigning for her own well-being.
"I found the space and the treatment I need to heal, with close friends by my side to provide love and support. I'm grateful for everyone who believed in me, including the more than one thousand individual donors who generously contributed to our campaign," she said.

The CNN White House reporter who reported on Pruitt could barely contain her glee over Pruitt's resignation. A big smile from ear to ear during the entire report. It was hilarious.

Democrats might be crying when they realize Pruitt's replacement is Andy Wheeler from the coal industry.
Doesn’t really matter, the war on coal isn’t being waged by the government, it being waged by the oil and natural gas industries.
Just because the clean power rules were rolled back, I doubt a single coal power plant that was going to be shut down will continue to run. The simple fact is natural gas is cheaper to generate electricity. Not to mention with all of the wind and solar coming online, natural gas turbines make more sense because they can be fired up and shut down relatively easily to account for varying load requirements. Can’t do that with a coal plant.

I dunno. The Kingston fossil fuel plant in TN was scheduled to close down in 2017, but directly because of the regulation rollbacks it remains open. I delivered there a few days after the decision to close had been made it, and everyone was sad. I then delivered there a couple of weeks before it was to close, and they were still sad. Then I delivered there a few months later and everyone was happy.
I'm a little surprised that the Kingston plant wasn't shut down. After that massive ash spill in 2008, everyone except for the people who work there are still pretty mad.
At least with the TVA, as the oldest plants get replaced, they are getting replaced with natural gas plants, so by 2020 electricity from coal generation will be closer to 20 percent, down from 34 percent in 2015 and from 40 percent before that.
By 2020, the TVA's percentage breakdown will be roughly 37% nuclear, 25% natural gas, 20% coal, 13% hydro, and 3% wind + solar, and 2% diesel.
It is estimated that the US has about 50 years worth of proven natural gas reserves (90 if you include the unproven reserves) and about 150 years of coal reserves. So neither one is going anywhere soon, but both will run out eventually.
The only reason I'm speaking in the context of the TVA is because I live right next to a TVA dam and am more familiar with the TVA's operations. It's part of the everyday life here. Plus my grandfather helped build that dam.
