just an outsider thinking outside the box....since it is a FEDERAL election and all...why can't there be one uniform law across all 50 states to deal with eligibility? ...if one wants to cast thier vote for a FEDERAL candidate then you must prove yourself....
This sounds like a good idea but on election day there are also state and local offices and issues to be voted for or against. I do believe one should have proof of eligibility to vote, although it is discriminatory toward non U.S. citizens, dead persons and people who think their candidate of choice deserves more than one vote.
well proof must be supplied to get a FEDERAL ballot....local and state ballots can do whatever....

I am watching carefully to see what happens in Chicago. Almost exciting isn't it? Emanuel now says he might like government help. If I didn't know better, they are doing a script for a movie. :D

But as the industry automates, factories don’t create jobs like they used to, said Marina Whitman, a professor of business administration and public policy at the University of Michigan.

“The American auto industry last year produced more cars than it ever had before, but they did it with somewhere between one-third and one-half the number of workers that they had decades ago,” said Whitman, who was an adviser to President Richard Nixon and GM’s chief economist from 1978 to 1992.

“The last thing the auto industry needs is more capacity.” she said.
and there will be no new car plants with the latest forecast...

By 2020, auto plants will run at about 85 percent of their capacity, getting closer to the cutoff line where some factories start to lose money, Schuster said. They’re at around 90 percent now.

That will require doubling the number of ballots to count and additional chaos at the polling place.
not is all those people don't have ID....there will be less....??

If you have proper ID things would stay the same.....if you don't... no Federal Ballot...so there'd be less

I have no problem with requiring id's when voting at any level.

So would Hillary been any better at least he's got some ideas to put this country back on track

This country is back on track, but i wonder if Trump will keep it on track.

On track people living in cars working the largest separated between the upper class and lower class
While certain rights have been fixed outher rights have been destroyed and look at the true labor in this country not the fake numbers put out bottom line to many people out of work and we all can't be expiditers or work for retail

I'm sure the country is in a better position than eight years ago regardless of how some people would like to spin it.

A leaking radiator that has just been refilled with coolant is in better condition than it was before - but it's problem hasn't been fixed. The American vehicle now has a trained mechanic under the hood instead of a befuddled golfer:confused2:
