Hopefully they will play dales requested farewell song. Very sad and radio has lost one of the last great ones. There just aren't to many left.

That, is what good radio and a good radio personality does, and Dale made millions of people feel that way....

I always got the impression that it wasn't just a job with him, that he actually gave a darn. A couple years ago I was listening to his afternoon show on XM and there was an interesting topic but I couldn't get through on the phones before the show ended. I went to his web site and fired off an email with my thoughts on the topic when I was stopped to fuel. When I finished my load and checked my email, he had written back a rather lengthy reply that was obviously well thought out. I wasn't expecting a reply from him, let alone one that in depth.
