How far south? Fla is generally a slower area for freight. Texas is a place some do well in, others not so well.

There are exceptions to this, but generally ya wanna stay east of the Mississippi & north of I-20. Again, that's not true for everyone, but more a rule of thumb.
Your statement is very true, been there and done that. U waste time and money going outside that area , sitting is no fun.
