Wow! If these statements came from a liberal Democrat, they would be called bleeding hearts.

LOL...probably.. I've just known too many good people who made stupid choices, or reacted one time in anger and ended up in prison. Yes, even drug dealers, and murderers. Not all people who commit crimes are 'bad'.... maybe stupid, didn't think it thru,.etc.

Bleeding hearts excuse the crime. They blame others than the one who commits the crime for the crime. They don't like the death penalty because they believe that they can 'fix' the killer, or what ever. I don't like the idea of mistakes that cannot be fixed. Dead is dead, it cannot be fixed. As far as nuking certain kinds of criminals, IF it was 100% sure, no chance of mistakes, have at it. Just enforce it fairly. Can't allow any more Kennedy's getting away with murder.

When you find the perfect court, perfect jury, perfect prosecutor, perfect defence attorney, and the perfect way to kill someone, I will support it. But until then, I will leave the ultimate judgement up to the only perfect one... God. Justice is His anyway!

It's not so much how you put someone down it's the time leading up to the ultimate punishment. They move the prisoner into the death house less than a day before. Lets do it a few times and maybe put them in the chair or gourney whichever and strap them in then say oh April fools, it's not till next week. Come on what choice did their victoms have?
