My Son played Basketball . He was a bench warmer at games and even at practice. I asked the coach why and was told because he doesn't see my son playing basket ball at other places .I am not one of the rich or a friend of the coach is why . I asked the coach which was more important to him the pay he got or to teach the children how to play basket ball . He got ****ed at me . I watched a game once and the players that got to play all the time was not any better or much better then my son . they lost every game that he was the coach . so did he know what he was doing .
The coach is a dictator, and what the coach says, goes. Period. if you don't like the coach's policy, quit, nobody's making you play.
SO the coaches are real coaches too . no training other then playing when the were in school or sitting on the coach and watching the so called PROS play on TV.
just like parents that never had any children tell parents with children how to raise their children
Yes the children need taught but don't the children also want to be like the PROS they see on TV or in the news . What about the hair or tattoos of some of the PROS .
So it is ok for our children not to have rights because the schools are not the Federal Government .
Yes girls should have some different rules then boys . boys are not aloud to have colored hair but girls can . I can see girls having long hair in the back .What about over the eyes . or can the girls have hair over their eyes because they are girls . or just long at some jobs would long hair be a safety issue .
come guys equal right, freedom ,fairness etc,for everybody mean for everybody . yes start learning to follow rules and laws when you are a child . but the rules and laws need to be fair and equal for all .
no wonder people have a hard time following laws. they are taught one way when they were younger and when they get older somebody changes them on them .
just like you old truck drivers . before there was no limit on how long to drive now you have a limit . how hard was it for you to change
if you were back when the AMERICAN REVOLUTION was .what type of person would you be . the one to invite the British over for tea and a warm bed . worried about how you were going to get paid . or just fight because you wanted FREEDOM and then worry about the stuff after you got your FREEDOM

Fair? Since when was life fair? Boys and girls have the same rules? Why? Even the U.S. military has different standards and rules for women. Not only in hair length or uniforms either. Children don't have all the rights that adult do. If the coach sets the rules, you follow them if you want to play. Just because the pros do this or that it does not mean that the kids have to do it. Those pros are adults.

I was not speaking of how they act in military schools, I was talking about different physical standards for training. Women are not required (unless there has been changes made that I am not aware of) to do as many "physical" things as male recruits.
I guess school is far different now than when I was in. Coaches in my day not only taught kids how to play the game. I guess that I am just getting old. No one when I was in school would question a dress code rule that a coach set. Making the team was far more important.

I was speaking of adulthood in the legal sense. I am well aware that there are many young people that act more adult than many adults do. I was just raggin on you about the caps. Just pokin fun!! No harm intended. I just have a strange sense of humor.

Well I don't see it as an intrusion, it started back in 1938 and if you know the history of the ICC, FDR and other things surrounding it, then you can understand the following - not many people who are alive today ever worked under conditions with no hours.
BUT if you really want something to illustrate an intrusive behavior by the feds, it is the FDA and the regulation of retail outlets on the subject of tobacco products, I think that one of the NRA rulings in the 30's kind of said that the feds can't do that.
