I watched his speech and also heard the Democratic response. Why does there have to be a response, it sounds like they are little children.
But anyway I think that there are a few things that can help all of us that both the dem‘crats and the ‘publicans can do -
First is start with a moratorium of all taxes on alternate fuel for 5 years, especially ethanol – which I think is still taxed through the ATF with the licensing bonds/fees. The cost to the federal budget is so small that it won’t affect it.
Second is to give everyone 100% tax credit for every item that buy to reduce fuel usage. This includes special wax job on the truck, solar panels for the truck or home, insulation, even attic fans – anything that can help reduce fuel usage in both vehicles and homes.
Third is to force every auto company that every product must be able to run on Ethanol (of course gas engines). There really isn’t much that has to be done to make an engine one that an use ethanol, the parts already exist for almost every engine in production and the cost is really not much more – in some cases it is less to do.
Fourth is to get the states to eliminate sales tax on all alternative energy products. I hear Arizona does this already on Solar panels and controllers. Why not expanding that to include lighting products, and all the items I mention in my second point.
OH I just woke up..... what a dream......
