There are no perfect carriers,just like there are no perfect people.Thoe I did meet the best expedite team ounce, if you don't beleive me,just ask them.Con-way was perfect for "us" then they sold out,Tri-state didn't work for us, but we have freinds who like it pretty well.It does cost money to move a truck but it,s money well spent when you finally find the sweet spot where "you" are happy.All the home work in the world will not tell you if it's right,trial and error works for us

Most people noticed that my post was meant to be humorous. After being happily married for 26 years and spending some time otr, I don’t think it is a problem.
As for what I got from the ‘workshop’? Like I said, I met truck dealers, recruiters, fleet owners, wannabes and EO staff. While I know that most of these people were there to represent their business concerns I did not feel that they were trying to serve any tainted cool aid. The truck dealers were very honest about the costs and risks of buying a truck now. The recruiters were not hard selling either. Everyone I met was just trying to be helpful and answer any and all questions that were asked.
The workshop wasn’t sufficient to prepare me to get into this business. It was simply an introduction to what Expediting as a business is.

VBobby;

Could you please offer suggestions as to what would make the EO Workshop better, as far as topics that could be covered,to help "ready" a person for the Expedite Industry?

Thanks,
