Did anything good/intresting/happen?

Did ya learn anything? Will you remember this week a year from now ANYTHING?

Life is short, one Radio show I listened to plus that new Song about the man having the 100th birthday and a song written about it.

Enjoy all and have a great week.

Well this week was interesting to say the least...
1st day of vacation at Disney and I am reminded of my age...
I can hike in NM walk all over Canada all day photographing the falls and the beautiful landscape but I cannot LAST more than a day chasing grandbuddies.
I did however enjoy a carefree childlike mentality for the week and enjoyed 4 star dining under the meal plan.
I am without a doubt ready to go back to work and proud to say I look forward to next year in Belize or even the UK as we have made some great acquaintances while here..
All BS aside..
This week was fantastic and the highlight was meeting people from all over the world ##### bent on enjoying the "Disney Magic" and trying to explain the allure.
We brought the truck as it was convenient and we will be ready to go in-service post haste.
Convenient??
Yes but found myself giving truck tours more than enjoying the food and whine festival (intentional typo) at Epcot.
My pictures are not interesting for this trip as I am compelled to photograph the things that caught my eye and it wasn't the golden flow of locks blowing behind the head of a princess on a coaster but the very magic of Disney himself..
Detail to the creation of thatch roofs in the Serengeti to the authenticate origin of the servers at the Beer Garden where I could enjoy great food, festive atmosphere and share life experiences with the "transplant native folk".
This week I learned the true magic of the Dizz..
We all came together to share life, fun and happiness from all the corners of the globe..
In retrospect my week has been phenomenal.
I look forward to at least one more year of doing what we do and hope everyone finds a silver lining this week.

That's why I keep a blog named "You Learn Something News Every Day." I want to remember today one year from now and ten years from now. It helps focus my thoughts as I go through each day, so each day counts for something. A private journal serves the same function if you wish to keep your thoughts and experiences private. I keep both, sharing publicly as appropriate and journaling privately too.

It really is a good discipline. If you make a mistake and wonder, "What in the world was I thinking?" it is a simple matter to go back in your journal to find out. It works the same for personal victories and breakthroughs.

Yer right about the whine part. Been there once, and, really didn't observe the children enjoying themselves after the first couple hours. I don't understand, should be an event of events but, don't seem to be.

interesting?? What a great weekend!! my kids passed hunter safety last week, of course i was on the road, but we went to gander mountain and purchased each a new rimfire rife with scopes, my daughter got a savage 22 mag with accu trigger and my son got a savage .17hmr with accu trigger. we went to the range to sight in with my nephew and brother and spent the day sighting in, and practicing, by the end of the day they were shooting qaurter sized targets consistently at 50 yards..so now we are saying..LET THE HUNT BEGIN:7

I tried to rate you some more for teaching your kids how to shoot but the system wouldn't let me.
Good parenting, kids who are educated about firearms are much more comfortable to be around.

I can only speak for me....but..if mechanics worked by the job instead of by the hour, things would get fixed a H*LL of alot faster!
We have spent the last few days watching mechanics walk back and forth for one screwdriver, or one wrench, or one socket. I was fit to be tied, and ready to take a few peoples head off! My dear hubby, who is the more diplomatic of the bunch, calmed me down.
Sometimes, I wonder how MEN ever get anything done! LOL (going to hide now)

I'm learning about wheel bearing assemblies and ABS sensors. A subject I would have rather remained ignorant of.

Moot, I hope you don't have mechanics like I described above.

We are finally rolling!! After this past week, that's quite the adventure. :7
