The Notification Call.

When accepting a load on the phone, you are told you will be notified of the result. What good is that when the notification comes in an hour after acceptance. (If at all)
Wonder what dispatch would say if you foolishly sat and waited?

I feel your pain. If not on a load, we wait a few minutes and call the VRU.
2-2 and it'll tell you about the load if you did get it.
We also call the same 2-2 to get rescheduled eta's while enroute.

Once in a while I don't get the call within the 10 minutes. If I don't get a call within 10 minutes after accepting I'll call and ask. I don't roll until I know for sure, unless I figure I can get a dry run out of it just in case.

I do the same, but then the call comes in while you are rolling. Illegal to punch in your ID. Then the system keeps calling and calling. CHEZZ.

Most times I send in another load opp reply on the C-Link. That has always done the trick for me. Seems takes a while for the first response, not the second.
