The names we Use

Broompilot

I really do not understand why people would not use names to tie them to the Carriers they run with. So many kittens, cats, with all to many phrases.

You are You, A Carrier is a Carrier. Just hope it works out otherwise how we gona know its you again? Got a but chewing when I did not recoginize a person who had posted for years and changed names and I did not recoginize who it was.

What's to understand?

I mean that names or monikers are just identifiers that change and change often. Some of them show some sort of pride in what they do or have, some show some affiliation to something that they are or want to be involved with or something just plain stupid to be different and stand out in a crowd (remember a face in the crowd?).

Missunderstanding...

Exactly Jar-I can identify your name in a second, mine as well. What I do not understand is when someone calls themselves something tied to the carrier they want to sign with. Example Katlover?

Mine is easy.

Are is short for Arlene, a nickname that was given to me many moons ago by a dear friend that passed away. 12 is my favorite number.

Like a turtle, I carry my home with me wherever I go. I sometimes poke my head out to see what's going on in world.

Also, I think it's funny to be an expediting turtle. :+

Well I feel like my screen name (Packmule)pretty well fits what I do! Put a load on me and I will carry it across the mountians, dessert, rain, snow, heat, etc.
But I can be pretty stubborn at times!!!

I had a History taecher in High School that we called Broom Pilot, but it had a different meaning than Criags Handle. She was a WITCH!!!

Danny

By the way.... I thought the "A Team" were Vanners?!?!?

Just Jamin down the road, but I also like grape jam. So if you see me you can bring a jar of Smuckers grape jam.

When I went through police academy in '95 this nicname was bestowed upon me by the defensive tactics instructor...i was 6'2" 280 with a flattop haircut....He dared anyone in the class to try to take out the Big Buzzed one. I wish he hadn't said that...I left with more bruises on me that day than I care to remember!!! :)

nobb4u

Mine is a little joke on my husband when we first got married if I bought something with a check I didn't want him to know about I would put in the line notation "NOBB" (None Of Bob's Business) he never mentioned it but I bet he wondered where that NOBB store was. Of course now we have been married long enough I don't care if he knows what I spend...Let him say something..amazing how much we change over the years..LOL

I chose theoldprof because I am old and I was an assistant professor. I thought "theelderlyassistantprofessor" might be too much.

"Cheri" because it's my name, and 1122 because it's handy for a lefty, and easy to remember, too. ;)
