All I can say is that I am glad that there are likely no kids reading some of this. Be ashamed people!!

No, I won't be ashamed to speak my mind. If others don't agree with it, that's fine, but I won't be ashamed just because you or anyone else tells me to. That is my right, that is what I believe, that is how I was raised.

This from the alleged adult who can't refer to a single elected person up to and including the President without *******izing [can't wait to see if that gets past the censor, lol] their name in some childish way?

Yeah, right.

Yes, indeedy-do ..... for if there were, they would undoubtedly be ruined, and scarred for life ...... most assuredly doomed to the fate of being malcontents and criminal types, for the remainder of their days ....

Be ashamed people!!
Nah .... if I were going to be ashamed of something it would have to something that was actually substantive, something that - in the really big scheme of things - really mattered ...... not some little bit of adult humor, say done with a tad of questionable language, or some off-color graphic of a portion of the human anatomy ...... on what, as you admit above (and that anyone with an ounce of common sense knows), is ostensibly an adult forum.

Something more along the lines of say this:

Illegal Spying

Belonging to, and participating in the activities of (even if unknowingly and/or unwittingly) a criminal, anti-democratic organization - which, along with other, similar organizations - is at the forefront of destroying what remains of freedom and liberty, in furtherance of creating a police-state ...... and turning a once-free people into slaves being watched over by Big Brother .....

Now that might be something to truly be ashamed of ......

But hey - some folks have no real understanding of the magnitude, or significance, of one thing, when viewed in relation to another .......

Huh? Did I miss something?
Yes, you did. It was an accurate depiction of what is described in the Telegraph.uk headline containing the typo.

Since you're an adult and not likely to be offended by purely tasteless smutly scientific humor, you are allowed to click here (adults only), and then scroll down. It's the brightly colored one, although the crudely drawn one is pretty funny in it's own right. Children, grandchildren and adult children are not allowed to click the link. If you do, you'll go blind. I'm serious.

Boy do I feel stupid! I spent my time trying to come up with a clever thing to say about the second picture, that the first one got by me until this morning when I clicked the link. How could I have missed that? All that registered was the two objects headed towards each other, without paying attention to the headline.

Things like you mention are just a part of the reason that I quit working for NSA when I did. I could not and did not support things that were started under the Clinton administration and have continued and increased as the years have passed. I am NOT ashamed to have spent most of my 20 years doing everything I could to avoid a nuke conflict with Russia.

I was not ashamed of working counter-terrorism either. I quit when I was put into anti-drug stuff. Law enforcement was not my job nor is it the business of the Department of Defense.

I did nothing in my carrier that was illegal under U.S. law and would not have if ordered too.

As to the ACLU, willing to bet that they don't mount a Constitutional challenge to this so-called health care overhaul? They are not the most unbiased bunch around.

Our universe is nothing more than a computer program running on a desktop in someone's office. At the end of the day they'll turn the computer off and go home.

I saw that episode on Star Trek TNG. Makes you wonder doesn't it?
