The Good, The Bad & Ugly For Express-1

We have a friend who is looking to lease a Sprinter Van with Express-1. Would like any info we can get for him, How well can U do? Or any other company U can recommend. My Husband and I drive T/T and don't have info for him on that aspect of the industry. All comments welcomed and Thanks.

There have been many threads on Express-1. Do a search on the term express and you should get lots of good info. Good luck to your friend.

I drive for Express-1, and I think they're very good. I'm getting an average number of miles, the dispatchers all know who you are, they get you home when you want, and my paychecks are always right.

Sorry to disagree with the guy who responded right above me, but the best way to find out about a company isn't to talk to a recruiter. You'll learn some, but a recruiter's job is to tell you what you want to hear. The best way is to do what you're doing- asking drivers.

Scott is also a former owner operator with E1, so he has been on both sides of the desk. I spoke with him at great lengths on the phone in the past, he will take the time to answer any and all questions you might have, and will tell it like it is without any b.s. He is a great stand up type guy that some others could take a few lessons from.

I,too,talked to Scott some time ago about his companies lease program.
As luck would have it, I took the job I have now.I do have a strong background in psychology though and consider myself good at sizing someone up so to speak. I personally think Scott shoots straight from the hip or tells it like it is. I know I felt good about the answers he gave me during our phone conversation.
Had I not taken the job I have now I most likely would be with his company!
