Thanks for the link cheri. Reading the indictment gives great insight as to FEDEX's management culture (within that division) and it is not a pretty picture. Although they didn't give the names of the FEDEX actors in this indictment, they did give their titles and dates for their actions... not a far reach to put names to the events. I see an argument for culpability in this case do to lack of oversight. At 890,000,000.00 in gross revenues from this venture, the fines can be quite substantial. Makes me wonder if contractors will see another round of downward pressure on compensation to make up for this.
