The flow of weapons and equipment has been going on for the last 20 years, ever since we have been there. All of the presidents who have been in control since believed that once we left, democracy would survive, well guess what, a snowball had a better chance in hell. Im faulting everyone in our government for all the weapons and equipment going to the taliban.
Wrong. Trump initiated a withdrawal from Afghanistan, but not this surrender and not under these terms. Biden shredded this deal like all the other Trump policies and negotiated his own arrangements - and bragged about it. He owns this mess, and no amount of spin can change the facts on the ground.
What a calamity. And Joe reportedly listened to Jill when she said don't extend the deadline. So they're just leaving Americans stranded it appears.

No it was not.....the original version is we use our air base that we HAD security in place around and leave from.....not this s h I t show Biden has done.
No, it was not. Trump arranged an agreement but not this traitorous debacle.
This is the worst place to conduct an evacuation too. I heard a military person say that the stress on the jets using this airport could cause catastrophic failure (a wing break off) due to the military operation of taking off and landing. As well as not being able to have a secure a safe perimeter because it is located in the city of Kabul.

95,000 evacuated since August 14th, with roughly 13,400 evacuated between early Wednesday morning and early Thursday morning.

I wonder how many of the prisoners that were released as part of the deal trump made are part of the problems that are going on there now?

Trump did not make this deal .....Biden said he scraped ALL of trumps plans and policies.....Biden is running the show....you can't blame trump for what Biden does.
They were released in August of last year, long before Biden was elected.

Now 10 service members killed in the bombing.
Im not blaming trump, he tried to negotiate a deal to try to keep the peace, and part of that deal was that certain prisoners would be released, he held up his part of the deal and they didnt.
My point was there is a reason why these people were in custody and maybe they should still be locked up.
If we have learned anything from dealing with the taliban is that you cant make a deal with anyone who believes that their orders come straight from God.
