Positive/Negative news reporting on President Trump doesn’t legitimize any news source.

MSM is a Establishment News source, reporting, or more correctly, manipulating, to advance a Establishment Agenda.

It’s interests is not to inform the People, It’s ratings, profits, and a hand up to their friends.

Of course Fox News is more positive than CNN, it set itself up to be the “Conservative” arm of the manipulation. But we’re not talking about President Jeb Bush here, the person FOX pushed for President. Had it been Jeb, News wouldn’t be like it is today. FOX would be far more positive, and CNN less negative. Also, growth would be at 2% and we’d probably be in another war.

I’m not trying to make MSM circle Trump, im speaking it’s complete package, all the networks. It’s not Anti-Trump, it’s Anti-Nationalism.

Regarding Fox News, the departure of Roger Ailes had a lot to do with their change. As far as the rest of the MSM, it would behoove them to come clean and just state up front that their owners want to push a certain agenda that is left and which closely aligns with the Democrat party. Just put it in their network slogans and occasionally put it in a chyron at the bottom of the tv screen. It would be more honest of them.

Imo, it’s not left, it’s not right, in fact it’s not big government vs small government. It’s simply a handful of companies controlling 100% of MSM, so they give the illusion of opposing views, but the manipulation of both sides end at the exact same spot.

You realize that before Trump, a Bush or a Clinton had been either in the White House or Secretary of State for 32 of the last 36 years. When Trump was won the nomination, who did the Bush Family support? Hillary Clinton.

There is the Establishment, then there’s occasional Nationalist, like Ron Paul and Trump.

Establishment Dems and Republicans do align with each other on some issues. But the MSM is joined at the hip with the Democrat establishment. They push the progressive narratives on topics like Global Warming, the immigration policy, the health care issue, and judicial nominees to name a few. They only give credence to Republicans if they can be used to undercut they're own party and help advanced the progressive narrative. See the likes of a John Kasich, Ben Sasse, or Jeff Flake. John McCain was establishment and he set a record appearing on NBC's Meet The Press. He was the MSM 's best buddy until he ran against their favorite progressive icon Obama. Then they turned on a dime on McCain. Similarly with Romney. In 2015and 2016, before and during the primaries there were a few cheerleaders for Trump in the MSM. That's because they wanted him to defeat other potential Republican candidates who were establishment types. The MSM gave Trump virtually no chance of winning the presidency, but as long as he could make the path easier for the Democrat establishment candidate then they were as happy as could be. But that strategy kind of bit them...
So the MSM do choose sides, which will always be the Democrat candidate.

This year two turkeys, Peas and Carrots, are up for presidential pardons. The American people are voting via social media on which one will receive the clemency sparing one of them from their fate with the guillotine.

Unfortunately, the votes are being counted by the Broward County Board of Elections.

The birds' fate may come down to their relationship with Trump. If they gobble-gobble nice things about him and flatter him they may both be spared. If they grandstand and are rude, off with their heads, it will be.

The "Fox News Sunday" host told Trump that while other presidents expressed frustration with the news media, none had gone as far as Trump, who called them "the enemy of the American people."
The MSM is and will continue to be the enemy of the American people until they report the news without artisan, hand crafted bias. There is news and there is op/ed pieces/shows. Somehow the two have merged.

A large portion of the American people are also the enemy of the American people because they are unable or unwilling to double, triple check and sift through the rubbish.

That's what much of the news has become; signature, hand crafted, artisan news. I first started to notice this phenomenon during W's presidency. Newspaper editors had the pick of 100's of photo frames of a single few seconds in time. With Bush they always chose to go with the least flattering. A millisecond before his mouth fully closed or a blink, all to portray the moron look they were pushing. Now it has become more blatant.

Yes she does. She also recalls working the White House back to the Reagan administration and doesn't remember any reporter having their hard pass yanked. Probably true but she failed to mention if she ever witnessed any behavior similar to Acosta's recent display. Probably not. If Acosta was around during the Reagan years and behaved that way at a press conference he would have vanished without a trace. Also the linked piece that shows the Acosta incident is edited, dare I say "doctored" to appear that President Trump cut him off immediately.
