Where are you sitting that it is 57?
Outside of that, pretty busy month so far.
Can't complain a bit.

Shrewsbury, MA The rain has stopped, and the temp has climbed to 61 degrees. No complaints for an August temperature.:D

Actually finished my 1st yr of hauling freight in a CV..made a good amount of cash and have no complaints with how the business or my carried worked for me....spent money made made paid bills and paid myself, more then those that told me not to get into this business a year ago said could be made...have seen thus great country of ours from one shore to the other and from the north border to the south border..and i can say that i have enjoyed it all...

Met some good people from this forum, enjoyed a few meals and stories, smiles and laughs.....was able to help people on the road that were in accidents and thatjust had simple breakdowns...all in all the business has treated me very well this past yr...I am looking forward to this year being better and moving forward

Oh and has Ken said, "mama is happy" ....so its all good from there!!

On Saturday I had my 19th annual BBQ. It was somewhat special this year. I burned the mortgage on my house after getting it paid off. I gathered everybody around gave a toast for my son and his safe return home. He is in Afghanistan with the GA national guard. So just as I set fire to the mortgage the phone rang. It was my son calling from Afghanistan. How's that for timing. Everybody gave him a shout out. This was the first time we talked from his post. Before it has just been e-mails. Jerry Lee
