OK...now that I have everyone's attention with this catchy title: THE END of the month IS NEAR and it's been a trying year for all of us. I think we could all use a boost of positive energy so in this thread, you can only post POSITIVE things that has happened to you this month. I'll go first:

1. My first grandbaby turned a month old on the 15th
2. My parents and sister came for a visit. This is the first time in 2 yrs that they've been
here.
3. My trucks have run really well this month
4. I went fishing with hubby & an avid fisherman friend of ours and I caught the biggest fish.
........using my pretty bright pink pole of course!
5. I got to go camping for the first time in my life and had a great time
6. I lost 2 pounds....now have 8 more to go :)

Here goes:

WE ARE TIRED! We have been running back to back loads and it feels great!

We are going home next month for a few days!

Our truck is running really well with the new injectors

Still losing weight and enjoying my walks

Starting to see the leaves turn color up north and cooler weather

Youngest daughter is back from Iraq safe and sound once again

Was able to take a weekend off and spend time in the Las Vegas area hiking the mountains

We are healthy, have great friends, enjoying life and our way of making a living!

Fun Post Wingnut!

Got to spend a week off with my wife and go racin' at Bristol
Freight seems to be picking up
Weather is cooling off
After being woken up with a wet nose in my face and a wagging tail, me and the real Piper just went out and had a nice walk.

This month, for the first time this year I went above $1000 gross in a week. I am telling you, it feels good to be moving.
Van is running really good, even though I am approaching $300k miles, with no major break downs yet.
My girlfriend broke up with me. :)
Still free to roam around this great USA (and Canada).
Life is good!

Ah.....your editing of my post is a bit suspect. Mrs Piper says not funny and the real Piper says GRRRRRR. For those of you confused, our household consists of four feet AND four paws.

Must be all that exposure to American journalisim that makes you do that eh Ken?:p

Freight Gods have been smiling upon us, as well.

Our truck, Clementine, is also running well.

Going home tonight for the first time in 3 months. Gonna eat tons of barbecue and real Puerto Rican grub.

Son says he's getting married.

Stepdaughter moving to NJ (that's actually a good thing.....I'll see more of my grandbabies, where I will use copious amounts of Mountain Dew to wash down their Pixie Stix).

Life has sure seen a turnaround since last year for us.

1) Ran non stop for the entire month and set a personal record.
2) Now our last run is taking us home.
3) Truck only broke down twice this month and was fixed within hours instead of days.
4) We are happy to be involved in a business where we can be together.

Makes us thankful that we saw those silly little Roberts Express straight trucks with the sleepers at truck stops and decided to ask them what the heck they were doing back in the early 90s.

I had a skin tag the size of a grape surgically removed from my butt.

It just doesn't get any better than that. :D
