What a difference. A truly accomplished man, a man who started life with nothing. A man of principle, morals and a belief that all men are able.
When this man spoke, he spoke TO the people, not down on them. He spoke with the fervor of a man who is confident in his beliefs. A man who knows what is right and what is wrong.
Dr, Ben Carson spoke at the National Prayer Breakfast. The president, and many other dignitaries were there. Mr. Carson, looked like, sounded like and believed like a president of the United States should. He believes in our system of government. He believes in the ability of the individual and he is confident. Not some weird sense of "self-esteem", but the kind of confidence that comes from great accomplishment.
He spoke without a teleprompter. He was engaging.
This was a prayer breakfast so if you are offended by the mention of "God" or "Jesus" I suggest you don't watch this speech. Then again, maybe you should. Just to hear what is has to say about the idea of "political correctness", and it's evils.
This man, not the president, is a leader.
The link is to a source, "The Blaze" that many do not like. I ONLY used this link because I could hear the speech best on my computer. I have been looking for just a written text, so I could read it.
I don't know all of his politics, but to this man I would listen. He seeks to uplift, he seeks answers, not a bully pulpit. He may or may not run for office, if he does BOTH parties we have now will be in BIG trouble.
This link works better than the Blaze link:
