i made it and got to meet Lawrence, Dan and Mitch!
Dan & Lawrence demonstrated the new ExpediteLoads.com board -- what a FABULOUS tool for all of us! i'm hoping that it will just TAKE OFF, allowing us (all the expediters out here) to get truly independant! And with the acquistion of the TruckIt organization, we should see some major improvement in the amount and quality of expedite loads listed.
Mitch brought an expediter D Unit from Knoxville FreightLiner, and it was a really nice truck! Solid wood cabinetry, excellent workmanship, and with a salesperson like Mitch to deal with, buying a new truck could actually become an ENJOYABLE experience! He spent quality time with numerous people, some looking to get into the business, others looking to upgrade their current trucks, and never seemed to make any distinction between the used truck potential customers and the one's looking at the new trucks. A class act, and a throughly nice man, who knows his business!
i walked out with a STACK of bumper stickers and brochures about Expediters Online -- if you find these on your windshield some day, you'll know i was there! LOL i'll be the one in the black or white FreightLiner of Knoxville (front) / Expediters Onine (back) T-Shirt!

Godspeed to all of you out there on the highways and byways!
