so many people from Load One on this thread. They have so much free time because no loads?
or Load One is a good company, so many smart people at one place.

I would search this site for posts, google us, as well talk to other drivers on the road. You will notice this thread and a lot of the other comments are from drivers and owner operators that run for other companies. I am sure you can pretty quickly form your own answer good or bad. Now not every company is right for every person so you need to keep that in mind. But if not EO has a number of other great companies on here as well.

BTW, welcome to EO.

I'm obviously thinking of a specific carrier that exhibits honest and integrity, truthfulness etc. significantly above others. I can't say if they trail, equal or exceed others in other industries as I don't have the information or experience to do so. They do exceed in our own industry.

Leo, are you considering moving to another carrier again?

Please tell me here. I won't mention a thing to anyone else!

No, I'm not moving, at least before next week. :p Have to see what all the recruiting is like at the Expo and the first one offering $3 a mile may change my mind.

P. S. I'll move when I'm also promised $3/mile (for ALL miles, of course) AND a signed and notarized contract promising I WILL be treated like family!!

< I had always been told by landstar contractors that even stopping to do a driver change or answer the qc or phone was not allowed on a entrance or exit ramp. by the way of the two the entrance ramp is the safest of the two, speeds are generally slower. >

I dunno sometimes I wonder if the folks who create policy just want to make your life miserable, or impossible, Ive been on highways where there was no place to park BUT the ramp, Ive slept many a hour on exit ramps, never had a ticket, never been rousted, never had an issue, If sleep is calling, is it safer to continue to drive looking in vain for some so called PERFECT place or find a suitable ramp and park...

Ive never been told not to sleep there, Look at the rest areas where I do see some fools parking way past the entrance or exit, now thats a recipe for a accident, But If I can stop near the top, middle etc, Ive slept there many a night,

PERFECT COMPANYS.....maybe perfect to you, or ??? But they all have quirks, and Kinks...it depends on what your willing to accept as NORMAL, etc...Ive worked for 5 trucking companies in my entire career they all started off as good jobs, but over time, and personnel changes, management changes and the associated POLICY changes things seem to go to heck in a handbasket...One of the best jobs I ever had was ruined when the company hired an ex ARMY guy to run the division, in 2 months he had run off 18 DRIVERS, mainly because he brought along numerous MILITARY IDEAS that Truckers werent going for, He would wake you up at 6 am, GOOD MORNING...knowing full well you just went to bed due to our NIGHT deliverys....

So Perfect I dunno, Ive enjoyed working most places, Ive learned from each of them and continue to do so....but tommorrow is a different day....

I can get ovm to hug you if that works.

Sorry, but that seems as though it could lead to dysfunctionality.

Besides, I'd hate to leave the intimate atmosphere at FedexCC...despite only making $2.99 per mile (ALL miles, that is)! Even though I've never met Virginia, I really, really think of her as family!
